langstonsubaru.com is where i got mine. they were $590, plus shipping, but that was the whole system. i know they used to be cheaper than that. the prices have gone up, but the customer service can NOT be beat. i was recommended langston subaru, and have been extremely happy with them. their customer service is so good, i'd be willing to pay more for the same product as anybody else, because you know they'll be there if you need them. saves a lot of headache-- me thinks. argh!

Back in late June, I got mine for $530 +shipping from Exeter Subaru (www.subaruwrxparts.com). They are also the bomb! Their prices are outrageous, and the customer service is a two thumbs up. Best of all, they have a toll free number.

I've heard some of the sound clips from the Borla headers, do the MRTs sound just as mean?

Not with a Stromung can, but they push out more power and are less expensive. Of corse, my MRT is unresonated. If you decided to go MRT, the Resonated mid-pipe is only $50 bones more. I, on the other hand, have to shell out 200 to get a resonated one.

I can't speak of perfomance gains because i'm still running stock(except for ganzflo) But I hosted a soundclip of MRT headerback.

Check the old post, theres an AVI and an mp3 of the same clip.

Yeah, it does sound nice, but doesn't have the boxer sound that the Borlas do.

Ychan,
I got my MRT header back system in March of 02 from Langston. The thing is I ordered it in July of 01 from them and they just jerked me around for about 8 months and I already paid cash for in in July when I ordered it. I threated to cancel the order but they didnt want that so I told them that I wanted something free and they told me they couldnt do that but to make a long story short I did end up getting some MRT springs whick I really love. I decided to order a camber kit from Langston and ended up finding front and rear camber kits for a total of 55$ and his kit was 53$ for just the back. I sent it back and I tracked it and they got it Nov 11 and I have called them 3 times to get the money back and they seem to be ignoring me. I would never order anything from them again....just my 2 cents

Default bluimpreza00

bluimpreza00,
it took them a long time to get me the MRT system, also. but they said they wanted to check fitment on the MY02. when i finally got it, the headers were off by 1/8" from port to port, which was extremely frustrating. the reason i say the customer service was good is because they were very quick to respond to my complaint. they sent the new system out in no time, and haven't been too concerned about picking the bad one up, yet. but they were really polite through the whole thing.
