This sucks!!!!
Just read on the front page of specials stage - "Hyundai Pulling Out of SCCA ProRally" Major bummer I think, The US ProRally series Open class is small enough and now a major competitor and a 6 time Mfg champ is just up and out. One thing this will do is introduce a large amount of US talent into the ProRally pool. The thing that gets me ... is I was all about Hyundai at LSPR, and really liked their Hyundabishsi's, and their drivers were pretty darn impressive. Mitsu, and Hyundai both walking away from rally... Sad day... the day Subaru pulls this... I am going to SOA and kicking the crap out of someone, then flying to Japan to repeat ![]()

Yea it sucks but do you really expect any manufactuer to stay in any particular type racing for life? As sad as it is to think about I can't see subaru staying in the wrc or scca for life. They all come and go and come back again thats the way it is.

Mitsu pulled out of WRC not SCCA ProRally. Mitsu will reinforce it's ProRally efforts no doubt with the EVO 8 being offered for sale in January. Vermont Sports Cars runs the new team.
Ford will be in ProRally with the Air Force/ Focus/ AV Sport/ Tim O'Niell car. AV Sport's stable will all be there. I'd guess Hyundai pulled because of the economy, did what they wanted to do, and don't sell an equivelant car in the US. |

Yeh I know Mitsu pulled from WRC... but Rally is Rally... To me loosing one entry in either series sucks.

Mitsu didnt really pull from WRC. They're just taking a year off to develop a new car.
