Thunderhill Last Weekend

All of you track guys really missed out last weekend at Thunderhill! There was only about 50 cars max there and all of the groups were lumped into 2 - 3 hour long sessions. You could go out and stay out as long as your nerve and gas held up. I personally went through 3 tanks of gas and called it a day early.
By my calculations.....

3 tanks of gas X 14 gallons X 8 miles per gallon = 336 miles of track driving.
336 miles / 3 miles per lap = 112 laps

I think that all of the track time kind of mellowed everyone out a bit in terms of attacking the course too hard and going off. I only remember 3 incidents in the 4 plus hours that I was on the track.
It was a great time!

I think its time for a new set of tires. I think you should give me those old A032R's.

That's great man...I really need to find one of those sessions! Interestingly, I get about 8 mpg when I'm flogging my WRX on the track as well.

I think that I will keep the tires, thank you very much!

They are just getting to the point that the tread squirm is minimal. I will bring them by the shop this weekend if I can.
