We will no longer be selling them, but we'll continue to
support our customer base, so I donít see the remap
service going away any time soon.

Natural progression... makes sense. The unichip is still a great product for those not looking to spend a thousand dollars on self-tuning engine management. I just want to install the chip and forget about it.

I'm damn glad they're still gonna do remaps though.

I'm selling because I am going with a UTEC. I had planned on staying with the unichip but it just isnt what I need with the 2.2L block.

As for the car, it's still at Dale Teague's awaiting a new 2.2 block with forged pistons and rods. I've bought a beater car to drive in the meantime. I miss having a fast car

Damn, I was wondering who was in the bid war with me! SHEEZE.... spent more than I wanted.... but it seemed to be a very nice Quality Unichip. Sorry, enewtabie... no hard feelings. I'm sure you'll find one for cheaper soon.

Is $355 including shipping a good price for the unichip, harness, and ABC MBC?

Very good price. Enewtabie and I got ourselves into a bidding war, and I won the bid at $510 for basically the same set up. But that's alright.... like I said, it came from a trusted source.

Glad I got a good deal. It'll do since I'm not into tuning myself. I'm about to the point where my car is fast enough without doing the big stuff (bigger turbo, bigger I/C, better injectors, and etc...) so it should be it for a while. Hehehe...until more money appears Modding is such a sick hobby...

God, I know! Everything now, whether it be more work, or selling something comes down to: Hmmmm, should I play, or buy parts for my Suby?? And the Suby almost always comes out on top!

AHHHHH!

I wonder if they offer counseling for people like us BTW, how long was the turnaround time for you to get your chip remapped? Or did you not even get it remapped?

They usually remap it and send it back the same day.

Haven't taken it to the track yet - definitely will be the end of winter though. Just got the last mod I wanted to in last week before I went. (crank pulley)

As of now I've added pulley, samco IC hoses, up-pipe, and colder plugs to stage 2, so I'm hoping for low 13s.

Maybe if I take out the seats, spare tire, ice the IC, and put in some race gas I can get 12.9 on stock turbo

Hehehe. I went to the track last week in Gainesville - thought I would stop by since I was heading down to Melbourne from Talley for Turkey day. I had luggage, two sets of golf clubs, spare tire, maglites, bazooka tubes and whatever else. I have the MRT TBE, GSpeed uppipe, perrin pulley, samco i/c hoses, green filter, and sbc-id. I pulled a 14.1 with a 4000 rpm slip/dump. 0-60 was only a 2.1 or so. I was pretty happy with that considering all of the stuff I had and never having track experience before. REaction time didn't really matter as it was a Tune/Test night. I'm hoping my times will be in the mid to low 13's when I get my mapped unichip installed That'll be fast enough for my tastes - atleast for a few weeks

Yeah, I just got my Unichip in the mail tonight. So I'll be sending it out tomorrow afternoon, or Monday morning. I'm looking at a Stage IV tune, with vf29, uppipe, STI injectors, Whalbro Fuel Pump, and possibly in the near future the Liberty Air/Water intercooler I've had sitting in my closet now for 4 months!

Blue

I should be hitting somewhere in the 12s..... Hopefully...... as I've never taken any car to the track, so I have no idea.
