Get a UTec... Worth the extra money since anyone can tune it. =) But the actual chip is the exact same. Dalco actually makes the electronics and the chips have a ton of features most tuners don't even use. TurboXS isn't keen on tuning other peoples chips obviously.. but I'm sure they'd let you pay to get it mapped. =)

the Unichip itself is physically the same.

Obviously, they are programmed differently and require different hookup schemes. I would highly recommend sticking with a Vishnu unichip map and just getting their EMI Wiring Harness to splice into (making it plug n play after you do the splicing) instead of cutting the factory wires. I've done this before.

A TurboXS Unichip on the other hand comes totally plug n play. I've done this before too.

The TurboXS is much less work but in my opinion, the Vishnu map is better.

Another important thing:
Cobb, Vishnu, and TurboXS all use slightly different wires from the Unichip to control the car so if you want to use a Vishnu unichip with TurboXS programming, you have to get ahold of a TurboXS adapter.
