Default another one of those exhaust questions . . .

i'm looking for an exhaust that is some what quiet but still mean, and the option to get dual tip.

I have considered brullen and stromung but i have no idea how loud they are. does any one know the db of either of these?

thanks,
Brad

Will a dB reading mean anything to you, though? It will tell you how loud it is when the reading was taken, but it doesn't convey the exhaust note, or how it will be during cruising, etc.

It is hard to find mean and quiet in the same exhaust. It can be mean, but if you can't hear it, is it really? Brullen makes different levels of loudness, they sound like your best bet for your compromise.

I have a Strömung duel tip system on my RS and I like the way it sounds. I have also driven a couple other RS's with the Brullen system and they are louder than the Strömung.

Hope this helps

SubaruLover - our system with the quiet acoustic preference is a tad quieter then the stromung, the medium is approximately the same volume, but deeper and richer sounding then the stromung.

Zephyr250 - which acoustic preferences did they have? It'd be hard to generalize that our systems our louder then the stromung without specifiying which one it was.
