Unhappy Need Help W/ Hesitation

Occasionally when I stomp on it, especially midturn, the car all of a sudden jerks, and doesn't have power for a split second, if I stay on it, it will start to violently jump. If I lay off the gas and then back on it, everything is ok. I have about 44k miles on my car and still have yet to change the spark plugs. Could it be the fact that I need new spark plugs, or could be it be something else. I installed a Ganzflow about 3 weeks ago. Prior to that my car was not doing this as often as it does now. But even back then it would do it.

Do you have any other mods besides the Ganz intake?

Have you tried puttting the stock intake back on just to see how the car reacts?

Can you reproduce the hesitation/bucking every time....or is it more sporadic?

You can try spark plugs....they're cheap & relatively easy to replace.

Try checking the coilpack for corrosion. It sounds like your car is doing exactly what mine did. I cleaned the bad coil and put some dielectric grease on it. Everything has been fine since then.

sounds like the same problem this guy had? I had it too, read my advice towards the end of the thread. It's an ignition problem, probably a misfire in cyl # 1 or #3...

good luck,
