Default UTEC Log Filter Program

OK...I just wrote a quick and dirty program for filtering UTEC logs. It will take a log file with multiple pulls in it and break them out into seperate files.

It works with all the log files I have. Give it a shot if you want. Right Click and save from here:

http://www.freebmw.net/don/UTEC/UTECLogFilter.exe

Copy the program into the directory where you store your log files. When you run it, it will create an .ini file which just stores simple settings in it (right now, only TPS threshold and filter settings).

You pick a log file you want to filter in the top box. Set your TPS Threshold and Filter.

The TPS threshold is the value of TPS to indicate to the program the start and stop of a pull. So, if at WOT you are only indicating 97, then you can set this to 97. Or maybe you want to set it to 90 for a wider band of points. You will understand when you use it. If you want to save this new number for future runs, click the "Save" next to the number.

The filter number is used to check for "holes" in your pull. i.e. you hit a bump and you foot slipped and your TPS fell below the threshold for a sample or two. If you set this number higher, it will skip over this "hole" and continue with the pull. If you want to save this new number for future runs, click the "Save" next to the number.

It does nothing but read your log files so nothing is changed with the original files. It creates new files with a number extension. If you want the created files to have a name other than the original filename, enter the new name in the bottom box.

Press the "Filter" button to filter the log file. "Cancel" exits you out of the program.

This is freeware so use it as you please. I assume no responsibility for your use of this program. I am not supporting the software, but I am open to questions, comments, suggestions... Use at your own risk... blah, blah, blah...
