I talked to Greg Montgomery a little while ago, and we came up with the tentative RallyCross schedule for next year.
Sat. 2/15 RallyCross Sat-Sun 6/28-29 2 CRS points RallyCrosses Sat-Sun 9/27-28 Rally School & RallyCross Sun 11/30 RallyCross These events will be at Thunderhill Raceway, however we are interested in finding a site closer to the Bay area. Bill

Thanks for the info Bill. There's that dry spot between Feb and June though...
... I may need buy some auto-x tires to get my fix in the meantime. Does CRS usually run back to back events like the two tentatively scheduled in June? - Skylar |

Thanks, Bill. Yep. If you guys find a spot closer to the Bay Area I'd definitely be up for it. I'll keep my eyes and ears open.

As for the gap between Feb & June there will be a lot of rallyes going on. Pete will be running a BAIC rallye series again. Both Pete & I are writing SCCA National championship RoadRallys currently scheduled for 4/19-20, but we are looking at moving it up a week to 4/12-13. If you liked his Alternate Altamont this year, Aftershock .0'3 will be a longer harder version of the same style. My Earthquake '03 trap rallye might be a little dificult for people who haven't run a few trap tsds or gimmick rallyes already, however you might want to precheck it. I'm sure we can probably offer anyone who prechecks & works checkpoint on one event, a big discount on running the other. Bill |

We could really use CP workers for that one. And while I am considering doing another 4 season series this next year, I'd like to see what it will take to get more participation....... Anybody have any ideas? |

We have scratch the feb. date but added a few more for the year. My expectaion was that it would be way to muddy in february. If anyone has a good area in the bay area...let me know..I would love to have another venue. We will be having Two series this year. One with SCCA and the other in conjuntion with the California Rally Series.
Keep your eyes open??? -greg |

Sat. 4/19 RallyCross.
Sat-Sun 6/28-29 RallyCrosses Sunday counts for CRS points. Sat-Sun 9/27 Performance Rally School & 9/28 RallyCross for CRS points. I'm trying to figure out a fifth date with no conflicts. That would allow for a Nor Cal championship, best 4 out of 5 events would count for points. SCCA membership would be required for the championship, but you would not have to join to run the events.
