Default Q A/B Minnam Intake W/ Greddy Filter

Hi! I just installed a Minnam Intake w/ an older generation Greddy filter and my buddy told me that the Greddy filter sometimes makes the car run too lean and I should keep an eye on it. Anybody know if there is any truth to this? It's for a 2003 2.5RS.

generally, with an intake your car should run richer.

the only cars that specifically suffer from run-lean conditions with an intake are MY99's, because of the MAF sensor.

the MY98 RS suffer's even more from this problem than the '99's... it is commonly said that the S-AFC only works on cars with MAF's... so you should'nt have a problem...
