i have one on my wagon, mated to a random tech cat and a borla header, the car is lowered with H&R spring(f 1.8 r 1.5). its a little on the loud side, i think it sounds good, its definitly not a sound you would think can from a car with only a 4 cylinder,it sounds like something bigger is under the hood. it was definitly alot quieter before the cat and the header but it still sounded good.i had a couple exhausts on my car prior to the N1 first was a custom bent (2") exhaust with a magnaflow muffler it was louder but not much better over the stock exhaust, then i had a stromung the car seemed to have some more low end and was a little quieter, then i had the N1 it felt like i lost a little bottom end but picked up in the mid range and top end, most likely because the exhaust on the N1 is a straighter shot to the muffler than on the other 2 exhausts. but on my car the front of the muffler can will hit stuff like speed bumps because the can is angled and my car is lowered.just the muffler is stainless and the rest of the pipe is just coated. other than that i like it and think it looks pretty cool sticking out of the back of a wagon.

I have it on my 01/2.5 I love the exhaust tone! AWDwagon you are right low end is none existant but the Mid and high RPM that's when it come alive, I have now added the borla headers AWD tell me does the RT Cat make a difference with the current combo?
I have on my car JIC ATL-SF2 Coil overs, Whiteline (front) 22mm Sway bar, 22, 24, 26mm Rear Sway bar, MRT antilift kit (I love it) MRT sway bar links, Cuzco Front and Rear Strut towers, GFB pulley Kit, Borla Header, Apex'i N-1 the only downfall of the N1 exhaust is the way it hangs with the stock exhaust hangers if you hit a bump a certain way it scrapes... if you decide to get it make sure you get the Kartboy Exhaust hangers it actually helps quite a bit! my two cents...

i noticed a difference,it made the car a little louder but it feels like it breaths alot better by the way it pulls through the rpm band, but i also replaced my stock cats that had 97,000 miles on them so im sure they werent flowing like they used to. i have used RT products on a few of my cars and i likes the power gains everytime. the only problem there was was this cat fell apart on the inside(i have heard of this on a few people cars, but this was the foirst time i actually experenced it),RT will fix the probem just keep the recipt, but from what i understand they redid their cats so maybe they wont have this problem anymore.

if this is true, why on earth would you put it on a subaru? low end is why you get this car. i can understand a little loss, but non existant... why would you even consider this?
