Quick question about swapping out a fuel pump.
If I swap out my stock RS pump for a Walbro high-flow pump (255 lph, or something like that)... and if I do not change the ECU settings at all -- will I need to drop the voltage going to the fuel pump (via a SAFC, or otherwise) to get the same amount of fuel I'm getting now? In other words, will replacing the fuel pump make me run excessively rich, without any additional tuning? Thanks for any help. Dave

The FPR is what controls the fuel pressure the injectors see, not the fuel pump. |
