Default Goodridge SS brake lines and STi 4 pots on a '96 Legacy L AWD wagon?

Will Goodridge SS brake lines and STi 4 pot calipers bolt up to a '96 Legacy L AWD wagon? How about the front and rear DBA Gold Xdrilled/slotted rotors?

What size wheels do you have?

That'd be the only thing keeping you from fitting the wheels over the calipers.

They'll fit my wheels, as I have a set of 16x7 '01 RS rims on the Legacy now. I am also considering swapping my 17x7 UK WRX rims onto the Legacy, too, but I have brand new SO3's on those, and I need to be able to drive my car in the winter, so I'll probably just sell the UK's, as they'll fetch me a good price.

Thanks,

Mark

I should have been more specific. I'm pretty sure the rotors will mate up properly...my main concern is whether or not the Stainless Steel lines for my Impreza will swap over to the Legacy.

dunno if it helps, but the stainless steel brake lines for 97-99 gt's are marked "impreza turbo". i'd guess that the "L" would take the same ones, but am not sure, especially in the rear.

ps. see you in the legacy forum

I used 2.5 RS SS brake lines when I put STi 4pots and 2pots on my '98 GT wagon. Worked great. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Hehe!

Its funny to think that over a year ago you helped me pull the motor out of the jdm front clip. That was still the excitement, anticipation, the birth of my dream...now, we're at the death of it

What a bummer. But it'll work out for the best. I'm looking forward to buying a house from the proceeds of parting the car, and saving up for a USDM STi!

the SS lines are all the same....the only ones that are different are for the WRX. They have a different mounting setup.....but it's not even that different to not be able to get them to work.

So yeah.....the SS lines from an impreza will work on your legacy.

I had an extra set sent to me for my legacy and we put them on my buddy's 2.5 RS.
