Default Warranty about gone and now a problem

I have 35,896 miles on my car so the warranty is about gone. Im out driving down a snowy road today and get stuck, i eventually spin my way out and then the ABS light comes on. The brakes still work I drove home fine and had no problem but the light stays on. I made an appointment for thursday morning. I wonder if they will fix it under warranty since by the time i get it there i will even closer to 36K miles. They said it sounds like the sensor is bad so i dont know. Im thinking of trading it in on a toyota truck next year anyway. Anyone know if they will honor the warranty this close to the end of it.

That happened to you, too? I decided to go play in a snowy field one day and got stuck I dug myself out but my ABS light was on and the ABS was essentially turned off. But after I turned off the ignition and started it back up the light was out and the ABS was functional. Not sure what it was but it hasn't come back. And I think if you get it in ASAP the dealer should honor your warranty.
