highway partol pulled me over

well today i was coming up san tomas expressway and get off on the stevens creek exit towards stevens creek subaru around 9. the a guy test driving a wrx comes next to me and so i gun it to about 60 on stevens creek then make a sharp right turn on a side street to go home, after the turn i look in my mirror to see the wrx drive by but instead i see red and blue lights flash me from behind, how bizarre. so i immediately pull over, and i do mean immediately because the cop locked his brakes and nearly crashed into me. he then tells me to get outta the car and says give me ur license, so i talk for a few minutes with him, then he says get ur insurance and registration. so i get it come back and he is like i was originally gonna pull over the car next to you for speeding on the expressway (the other wrx) but then u blew by him, ****. what should i do give u a ticket, what do u think i should do? i suggested a warning and community service, he laughs. then on his little walkie talkie thingy on his shoulder the lady is like e36 somthing something something. and the cop is you are really lucky, throws my papers back and me and says u are very lucky again and tears off to what ever was going on. well i guess i was very lucky, but had to share that. then bout 5 mins later i go to the dealership and said i saved ur ass from a ticket, the guy was going well over 80 in a 45, but ya he just laughed, had to share it

i think toward the end he got tired of telling the story and decided to leave out a few details

he meant

he went to the dealership and said to the guy that was test driving the wrx that he saved his ass from getting a ticket. the test driver just laughed..

that's what I think he meant anyway

You're really lucky to have missed getting a ticket.

So, I was driving west in I-80 on Friday night past Roseville, Sacramento, hovering around 80mph, when a white wrx wagon blew past me. (I would've waved if he would've slowed down.)

How many of you find it easy to speed without even thinking about it?

Surprized no one has said it, but: NEVER GO TO STEVEN'S CREEK SUBARU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have horrible, horrible service and will cheat and rape you on every opportunity. Make the drive out to Subaru Santa Cruz, it's well worth it.

BTW- I am speaking of the service dept. at Steven's Creek. In my experience, the sales people are quite nice there. Unfortunately, I've had such horrible experiences on the service side that not only will I burn my car before being forced to bring it in to them, but I would never consider buying a car from them even if, for some really strange reason, it meant saving thousands...
