Question who sells subaru trailer hitches in the bay area?

I'm trying to buy a hitch for my WRX wagon but I can't find a store in the Bay Area which has one in stock. I'm interested in trying out the Draw Tite 24710 class I sportsframe hitch. I've tried Sportsrack and U-haul and they both claim that none of their local stores have it in stock and they'd have to order it from Draw Tite. Both quoted a price of around ~$125.

I found that www.hitchit.com sells the same model for $83 shipped, which seems too good to be true. They don't include a drawbar but apparently no one else does either. Also, I'm just going to use it for a bike/ski rack.

So where did y'all buy your hitches?

subaru of santa cruz. kind of expensive, but the kit includes the electronics you need to hook up the trailer lights. bolts right up with no mods and it is compatible with aftermarket exhausts

I got mine (a 24710 for a 1999 OBS) from A Sports Rack in Campbell, CA. (408) 371-0400.

Yeah, it took a couple of weeks for them to get it. Drawbar and electrical wiring were separate, but not very expensive. I had them install it. I don't remember what the total cost was. Something in the $250 range, iirc.

Here is a site that offers the hitch as well ( I remember seeing it when I was looking for OEM painetd side skirts)

http://www.subaruwrxparts.com/

Go to accessories, then click on the WRX, then scroll down to the hitch, I believe it is $165

Hope that helps!!
