Question help!! Need to pick Tein springs

hey guys,
i'm gonna order the AGX/Tein combo from TRi but i'm wondering which springs to get. The soft or mediums? Markus said somebody (orbiter?) has this setup and it's rock solid. Don't forget that the roads over here (etown) are probalby much crappier then over there (vancouver, etc).
Markus: can u confirm this since u have driven both in ur car.

Laterz
Chris

I'm running the AGX with the Medium Teins. They match the shocks quite well and feels very balanced. I would personally say go for the medium springs since you are getting the AGX combo, you won't be disappointed with it.

Chris,

What?!?!?!?

Dude, you're confused. Keiho is running H&R's with the AGX's and that's the only person I presently know that runs AGX's but I know there are a few in Vancouver area. I still think that just about any good aftermarket spring with AGX's will be better than the non adjustable when you take into consideration the weather we have in Alberta. 6 months of snow/ice covered roads followed by 6 months of pot holes suggests that an adjustable set-up is a good insurance policy to ensure longevity of struts and minimize rattles in the car.

My 2cents.

Cheers,
MB

well i said i wasn't sure!! i just remember u saying something about somebody have a set up similar to this.
all i remember specifically is "blah blah blah, tried to push front end down, didn't budge an inch, blah blah blah." heh, also sinve u've driven on both roads (vancouver and Edmonton), which ones are worse. Rougher, bumpier, etc. I'm guessing edmonton but i just want to make sure cause i'm thinking the mediums might be a LITTLE too harsh for our roads.

just for clarification but what does kg/mm stand for? Kilo per millimeter? I'm guessing it's a reference to the Tein mediums but i'm just making sure.
so 5zigen: ur saying the mediums would be to harsh?

Chris,

kg/mm is the metric equivalent of lb/in, BUT, it also the name of a Japanese aftermarket supplier.

And the car I was talking to you about was Keiho's. Afterall, only the supremely tasteful drive BRP Sedans
