Default Does this make me a bad person?

Okay, on my way home from the Brew Pub after a couple of pints, I see this Copper parked on the side of the road (hilly area). He has his parking lights on like he's doing paperwork on a previous stop. I proceed up the hill and see this car coming at a high speed of rate down the hill. I see from the headlight configuration that it's a Mustang, doing 60mph in a 25 zone. A quick debate in the mind, which the Mustang lost, I chose not to flash him and warn him of dangers ahead. He gets pulled over..... Doh!
Am I a bad person?

No way, he probably would have ignored you anyway. two nights ago I tried to give a driver the lights to warn of a hiding cop ahead, and they just flashed their hi beams back in my face. oh well. Besides 60 in a 25 = no good

Yeah, don't be too worried. At least you didn't get a DUI. Also, for some odd reason my first instinct when some one flashes me is to get pissed off and flash them back. I think it's because I used to drive an Explorer (they have notoriously bright/badly aimed lights from the factory) and I loved to blind the idiots who would flash me. Probably should pay more attention now, but it's kind of a Pavlovian response for me.

Oh and BTW cops have to have their parking lights on when they are gunning people for speed.

Ah, DUI wouldn't have come into the picture. Kinda hard with only 2 beers over a one and a half hour period. I must be getting old... He did have his interior lights on as well though, like he was writing something down. C'est la vie.

That same situation happened to me last night, but I was on the other end. I was driving down a notorious street for camping cops, when a 3000gt flashes me twice, I think nothing of it and flash him back. 5 minutes later I got pulled over for 55 in a 35. The cop actually let me off since the speed limit was going to change to 45 in about 100 yards. He siad he was just checking for drunk drivers.

I guess that I should actually be more careful just incase someone flashes me, cause it could save me from a ticket.

You are a good person for letting him get busted.

the cops parking lights must be on if they are stopped and gunning for speeders. 60 in a 25 thats more than double the speed, the arse deserves it, the speed is 25 for a reason.

Yeah, If it were any car other than a Mustang, well perhaps an S4 as well, I'd give em a flick. Just to iterate, I REALLY don't feel bad. This was posted more as a show, to fools speeding through residential areas. Thanks to those trying to comfort me.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with S4's! However, I despise any and all mullet mobiles, (Ford, Chevy, Dodge).

You're right. There is nothing wrong with S4's. A very fast, well built car. The typical owner on the other hand, leaves much to be desired.
