I ordered mine in August and they keep saying one more month. Surely some other company will jump on this and make some similar parts available NOW!

hey, since i first saw this in last year's catalog i have heard of a release in november-december and it would be out in the 2003 catalog. the one thing i never understood was why the wouldn't just remove it from the online catalog, or at least change it to say its on the new catalog. but anyway, it should be out by january.

I ordered one from wrx-performance.com. Unfortunately, they sent me the wrong bezel [Mitsubishi]. Looks very similar, but just wont' fit.

Give them a call and see what kind of timeframe they can get you one.

I went to order on from www.optauto.com and they said it has been backordered sinc January of 2002. I asked when they expect to receive and ship them out, the cryptic response was approximately February or March of 2003???

Would love to have one. Too bad nobody knows where they are!!!

its not that nobody can find them, its that autometer is taking their sweet little time making them.

I have also been looking to purchase that gauge pod. I emailed autometer about a purchase and they told me it wasnt even being produced. The response I got had no indication of a date. SUX!!!!!

I have been waiting for one for around 18months.

They keep saying they are manufacturing them, but they have not came out yet.

The company stated that they are waiting to see if the demand for the product will produce good enough numbers for them to produce.

SO in other words, it probably won't get produced.

Which is too bad, since it is a nice clean application for gauges.

I think it will be released in the near future, as it was displayed at SEMA. There is a video clip of it floating around this board.

That just might be our next project.
FYI:We are curently working on a gauge pod to replace the clock to fit (3) 52mm gauges (will not fit 60mm). It will snap in similar to the clock and be color matched to the dash. No pic available, at this time we only finished the modified part, we might have the tool (mold) made by this weekend.
I will start a thread if it works out as planned (this is getting expensive).

Now, back to the original thread.

I already made a gauge pod that holds 2 52mm gauges around the instrument cluster. If you do a search on post pics of your gauge setup. Mine is at the bottom of page 1 and the top of page 2. I think there may be somemore mixed in there but I'm not sure.
