Default wrx sti into 2.5rs swap

I was bored this morning, and got thinking, this would be a wicked car. It may be a difficult swap, but here is what i was thinking. Take an sti engine and tranny, and adapt it to the 2.5rs chassis. It would make for a suprising car for people who didn't know you had the sti engine. Of course this would be incredibly expensive, if at all possible. Reply with comments, or laugh at me for thinking this up. Peace.

It's been done many times. In fact, I have a '94 L wagon that is currently receiving a v7 drivetrain. Biggest problem is rewiring everything. You also have to adapt the dash as the '99 and later instrument clusters use a digital interface, completely different from the earlier models.
