Question How do you like your stock WRX ride?

As stated in my other post here, I plan on upgrading my TS wagon to the WRX suspension.

Do you think the stock WRX ride is worth the upgrade, or should I just get some whiteline springs? (My struts are the same as the WRX wagon). I don't race, have a wife and 2 kids, so comfort is an issue. But I want something a little sportier that what I have now.

BTW, the full setup I plan on buying is 25% more money than whiteline springs.

I would love your feedback on this.

Thanks,

schnell.

Default not extreme at all

With stock suspension and stock tires, noone ever complained about the ride in my car.

With stock-sized Pilot Sport A/S, the ride has gotten a bit more harsh over bad road surfaces. Enough that my girlfriend noticed, but not nearly enough that she would refuse to ride in the car.

I say go for the whole WRX package. All the components are designed to work together. It is sporty, but I don't think your wife or kids would find it at all objectionable.

(I'm sure someone around Toronto that would let you ride in their WRX wagon; that's definitely advisable)
