Default need help seriously??????????

My RS is acting really baddly today. It is fine when your are just cruisen around but as soon as dip into it to say get onto the highway or whatever it starts to spit and sputter something awful. The plugs are less then 6 months old and the only thing that I did not change at the time that I changed the plugs are the wires. It pulls through first ok but it hesitates really bad in second, third, and fourth. and then is fine once it is in fifth. somebody help me out please........

We had a bad coil pack locally that sounded just like that. I think they replaced the wires at the same time though, so it is hard to say. If you open the hood can you see any arcing?

Just a thought.

On the other hand, how is your fuel filter? Have you changed that ever?

My car was doing this a few months ago. Turned out to be a bad front O2 sensor.
Does the car still act up under WOT? Or does it take off normally?

hndatch627 - Will try replacing the wires to see if that helps....

jeffg - I hope it is not the coil pack and no the fuel filter has not been replaced yet. I will go grab one of those also........

tcs007 - I had the front O2 sensor replaced a little while ago. If that went bad again wouldn't throw a cel. The last time it went bad it did.....

thanks for the help keep the suggestions coming
