Heya, My bro is selling his car. So if anyone is interested let me know.

Looking for 26k Any and all reasonable offers accepted.

Mods :

AEM big brake kit
DC Sports headers
Apex N-1 exhaust
Wings West w-type lip kit
Racing Heart S7 wheels with Yokohama Parada rubber

heh, with all those mods, its hard to believe the car was never beaten on. besides, its a honda. its SUPPOSED to be beaten on. thats how u get the most of them.
you or your friend might want to post this on honda tech as well. it may get some bites over there. although 26(?) is a bit high even with mods.

It was never beaten on. In fact over the summer when we drive to shows we go together because we take it at 65-70, not 90+ like the rest of the people we know.

It is posted on other forums, sales boards. Just thought I'd see if there were any interest here.

Thats the price he's looking for./ He was offered 30g over the summer at a show, but he wasn't selling it then. He's taking any and all good offers.

It's going to be a tough sell on this bored. I have a feeling that most people in here, if in the market for a used car, would rather go for subaru. I could be wrong though.

Yup, I agree. This is a Subaru board so most interests are in Subaru's but I just thought I'd through it out in case anyone is interested. It is posted in a number of different locations.

I would do anything to have a Type R but with the lack of a garage and foul weather to deal with it's just not possible. Good luck selling it. Type R's are sweeeet.

Type R's are nice. I drove one over the summer. Great car if you can get over the fact that it doesnt light up until over 5600rpms...

Right.

No, he doesn't like the way the front lights look. He prefers the round lights. If you're interested though I can get you the full JDM front end (fenders, bumper, bumper beam, lights) for a good price.

He swapped the two A bages for H and the rear trunk lid "ACURA" for an "INTEGRA" badge.

Linuxguy just mentioned in the NESIC forums that a dealer is looking for $25k for an ITR with 33k miles. Most likely stock.

26K seems alright to me. When I was looking for a ITR last year the only one I found was 33K miles and was pretty beat up. The guy wanted 25K. I think it is a fair price if the car is as good as you say it is.

Plus ITRs are hard to come bye.

Type Rs are worth more stock,

and if you don't have the stock rims, the person who buys it can't even make it stock again

He has all stock parts except for wheels. The wheels are easy to come by. They can either be bought here used, or I can get them straight from Japan for said buyer (I work part time for a JDM distributor).

I'll post pictures as soon as I get some.

Thanks Bob,

Yeah , I'm a little upset that he's selling it too, but it's just another project in a line of them...

First car was a Camero, second was Ford Ranger ( his audio stint), third was a 00 Civic SI, fourth was the 01 Type R, then he got a military spec Tahoe as a daily driver of course with an 8 inch suspension lift and 3 inch body lift riding on 15 inch M. Thompson wheels and 39 inch bearclaws. So now hes getting rid of the 01 Type R and getting an S2000 in its place.

An ITR was the first car on my list of cars to look for... '98 Champ White is what I wanted, but when I couldn't find that, I got the next thing, a 2.5RS. I'd still love to own an ITR

i would love to have another Type R, but since i got mine brand new for 24,500 i could see spending more on a used one

Best reason for me not getting another one is because i had my black 01 for 3 months before it got stolen

good luck selling it tho

26k is too much when the car was $23-24k new. Mods aren't worth anything to most buyers. From what I've read on Honda-Tech.com, he'd be better off returning as much of it to stock and selling the aftermarket parts separately. Most ITRs of similar mileage have been priced around $20k.
