Default Pilot Sports and snow

I'm going to be going up to Tahoe soon and was wondering if I should put my stockers back on or if the pilots will be O.K.

anyone?

The Pilot Sports will definitely NOT be ok, you need at least an all-season tire to drive in the snow and the Pilot Sports are summer tires.

You should put your stockers back on

Did the Saab have Pilot Sport A/S? I've read those are supposed to do pretty well in the snow for an all season. A lot of the cop cars in Aspen are Saab's...

I did fine last year in Tahoe with RE92's and a healthy respect for slick roads.

5+ feet of fresh snow and more in the forecast! I've going up for New Years week - SWEET!!!

For sure put the RE92's back on- if for no other reason than their "M+S" gets you past chain controls, but Pilots Sports (non A/S) don't qualify.

If you're going to the snow more than a couple times per seaon, I'd suggest replacing the re92's with real snow tires.
