Yes,I do.
1)lose low end touque;very little bit pick up faster.
2)Teague's auto
3)about $200US shipped.
4)yes.
5)Not worth!!no big diffence for the performence, and it makes the headlight darker when idle.

I have to disagree with 1. and 4.!

1.) There is NO performance loss!!
(the UD pulley simply lightens the load on the crank...at ALL rpms!!)
Adds about 5 HP at the wheels.

4.) Absolutely no issues what so ever!!
(I had a regional service rep look at my car with the pulley ON, when my engine was "rattling" and they were suspecting a "loose" piston. He only asked me if I can bolt back the stock pulley to make sure it wasn't the cause. It turned out to be the cam-belt tensioner.

5.) I have to agree with you there!
(Like I said, 5 HP. You will feel better throttle response and a lighter pick-up at best. Bottom line, any car that beats you without a pulley will keep beating you with a pulley, so don't expect miracles!)

BTW, I'm originally from Canada, and I'm moving back at the end of the month anyways.
...in case some one gets any ideas that I have no right to be here... just kidding!!

I'm sure that it makes the car lose the touque at idle to 3000rpm.

Have a Nice Day?

jacktam1 -- Why would a UD pully make you loose torque from idle to 3k? It doesn't make sense.

The UD pully has *nothing* to do with any air comming into or out of your car (unless you have a supercharger, but let's not get into that right now), and also, it doesn't alter any fuel settings!

All an UD pully does is reduce the load of auxillary devices that the engine normally runs. You really don't "gain" any HP from using an UD pully -- you really end up changing how much of it goes to run your alternator, AC compressor, etc, and out the crankshaft to your transmission.

Question

jacktam1 -- you haven't explained anything. Maybe it'z cauz you posted @ 2:00am in the morning!

A lightened flywheel OTOH, that I can understand can cause a small loss in torque @ lower RPM's -- but that's not an underdrive pully.
