Very Sweet! It must be awesome to have all that torque and be able to use it without fear of the tranny grenading!

If so, can the Jun 2.5 kit work on our 2.5 NA engine?

The engine body is from Lagecy EJ25 but the JUN EJ25 kit can be used on your 2.5NA engine without any problem. You have to pay attention to the metal head gasket. Cause the NA's compression ratio is too high.

Total magic Bill and Sean!

On that black GF8, did you have to reinforce your car's frame to prevent frame flex?

Not sure if you're familiar with this name but "Hyper" with the 22B kit and 2.5JUN engine on his STi V3 GC8 had someone reinforce his frame for him.

Thumbs up

Wow, some really cool rides here.

Can those of you who have these EJ25 and EJ22 with the new age 6 speed manual tranny conversion tell us how much money is involved in doing these conversations?

its been over a month since this post came up and i can' t tell you how many times i've come back to it...these daily driven cars are prime examples are of how the u.s. is just at such a lesser level from what's goin on over there. it is inspiration for most of us!

I'm guessing it'd make more sense to just get a new North American STi. WooHoo, America finally gets something as sweet as the other side of the pond. Possibly sweeter. Hey, how funny will it be when these things get imported here, only to return "home" on the grey market.

Talking 1/4mile test result

Here is the 1/4m test result.

White GF8 JUN 2.5 KIT

0-62m/h : 3.90 sec.
1/4m : 11.67 sec.
Speed : 119m/h

Black GC8 TODA 2.2 KIT

0-62m/h : 4.19 sec.
1/4m : 12.01 sec.
Speed : 122.6m/h

Base on above information the JUN 2.5's test result is not good enough.... The main reason is that original clutch has difficlut to handle the power output. My friend and I already changed twin plate clutch. We are waiting for the next test schedule and will update asap.
