Default Need Help: CEL Diagnostics

Hi Everyone, I need a little help from those that have been there. This morning I threw a CEL while accelerating from a stop. The light came(solid, not flashing) on and I hit a feul cut-off at around 4200-4300RPM. Sounds like limp mode, but I thought it was lower RPM than that. Also, The idle is a little high @ 900RPM and between shifts the engine keeps the Revs up. It's cold here now and I heard the Belt squeel a little bit on start up the other day? Don't know if this has anything to do with it. My modes are as follows: MRT Header/Cat with Brullen Cat- Back, PROECM chip, Exedy Clutch and Flywheel, Ganzflow, and GFB Pullies. Any advice appreciated! I will reset the ECU and see what happens.
Thanks, Keith

before you reset your ECU, do you have an autozone where you live?

They will pull CEL codes for free. Get the number and post that here

Man, if you lived in WA, I'd pull 'em for ya! If this is going to happen frequently, I'd check into PocketLogger. Sucks for datalogging on the Subey, but you can pull the code and it's definition.

Default CEL

JeffG; I reset the computer already. The car is back to normal maybe even better, actually seems to be pulling stonger(ie. relearning). I do want to know the code however! If it comes back I will definitely make a pit stop at Autozone. I want to know what was going on, had me a little nervous. I know the ECU is a touchy area of Subaru's. Twerthi, I'm considering a Palm or some sort of device like it with all the necessarty software. Thanks, Keith
