Default Exhaust questions

If i got a stromung exhaust and a ganzflow intake would i still pass emissions?

Also would I notice an improvement in performance without getting headers, etc.???

Thanks a lot

Noticeable improvement in power - not major, but you'll feel a difference. Emissions should not be affected.

Agree....but if you live in a state where the inspector must look under the hood you will fail the VISUAL part of the inspection.

I don't know why you'd fail... it does not affect any emissions controls. AFAIK, anything not between the throttle body and the cats are fair game(as long as they dont' cause noise problems)

Not true, [at least in California], the intake MUST have a EO# (CARB) before the inspector can procede with the inspection. And of course if he sees it you automatically fail,

If your state has a visual inspection I would double check the criteria before presenting the vehicle for inspection. The sad part is that most vehicles with intake will still pass the sniff test.

mike270 - generally your reliability shouldn't be affected w/ just a Ganzflow and a cat-back. Word of advice. If you get a Stromung, don't get mild steel. It pays to get stainless the first time. Just take a look for yourself ->

Why not just take off the intake for the inspection? It only takes a couple minutes.
