Default OK guru's...point me to the land of BD JDM inspriation

I have looked and looked, and found some BD sites, but mainly BH ones (Cashmere Life, etc).

I am looking for some BD specific JDM sites to inspire this BD project I feel myself being tugged into ...and here I said i wasn't going to do it!

lastly, question foryou BD/BG experts..I see some versions have the amber corner lenses, others are clear..what model(s) had the amber? Is it a Euro part, or some specific JDM year/model?

Thanks in advance

That sure looks like some sort of amber corner light cover. I'm gonna try to find another pic of that model stock.

The fogs are nice, but for that kind of money (at least what we would have to sell them for), you could get a far superior set of PIAA or Catz duals, which would massively outperform those stockers..but I agfree, they do look the part!

UI ahve seen these headlights on a few models, and you are right, from this angle, they do look like covers..I know I could also just paint the corners to suit (we get this neat opaque paint that works fantastically, from Japan), but having the real deal with the projectors would be nice.

How about just nice BD's in general...already committed to the D Cuatro front grille, but what about wheels, interior accessories, etc.

The STi page seems to skip the BD/BG gen cars,,,goes from BF/BF to the current BE/BH chassis.

I had a catalog of STi stuff at one time for the original GTB, but lost it

Z1 - Start importing STi parts for the Legacy and I'll be your friend! Like the STi struts, springs & strut bars for the BE chassis!

I have to second Opie on this. There seems to be almost no support for any legacys in north america. If I am wrong, please correct me and point me to a vendor who has stuff for Legacys, especially BE/BH.
Z-1, I'll be your friend too.

You can take the corner lenses, heat them up in the oven and remove the amber reflector in there. To lazy to search for the "how to" thread.

we can get anything and everything from teh Sti catalog...fromt he smallest items to the biggest...we have beend ealing with them literally for years now....

so anything you guys want, just let me know....we are here to help, and the stuff is literally no more difficult to get that the hordes of WRX parts we bring in every month.

People don't stock it for obvious reasons....they don't want tog et stuck with inventory, and I understand that. But being that I am myself a Legacy owner, I have no problem making Z-1 your Legacy JDM parts supplier

soverign - no I don't want to get rid of the amber...in fact, i want the exact headlights above with the solid amber turn lenses, not meremly amber reflectors like I already have...

think I might have found a set anyway...will let you all know

I don't think they came stock. I've only seen those on one legacy over here.

Question though... are the headlights and turn indicators one unit on the BD/BGs?

If I had a bd legacy I would buy a syms kit. no question. I just wish I could get one for my bc.
adam, on www.sti.co.jp. they list maybe 10 parts for the bc legacy but they are in japaneese. do you have any info on that stuff. It would be most appreciated. thanks, kelley.

kelley - actually there is loads of stuff for the BC, much more than 10 items..I have the translated PDF file if you want..I'll scan it Monday night.

Most of the BC items also swap to the RS and WRX anyway...

Speedwagon - on my car they are one unit

I want those amber signals too, but I think it just might be film or spray.

keley - no problem, will scan and post it in this thread Moday, and we'll try and add it to our website as well in the Lergacy section (which will be getting MAJOR attention, not to mention seperate sectiosn for each chassis code).

As for the bumper, I guess it depends how much work you are willing to do...I suspect it could fit but would need trimming, etc.

BTW, I do know an RS front bumper (2.5 RS, 'MY99-'01) is a near direct fit for a Mitsu Colt

biggreen - my Japan guru's are on the hunt for these..I am almost startign to think maybe a Euro spec Have to try and find some german sites with the old GTB to check. if its spray, I am in luck..in stock
