Question Good OZ Wheel retailer in Vancouver area ?

I spoke with the OZ Wheel Distributor in Vancouver today. He says that the new wheels fitted to the Impreza P1 will be coming in about 2 months.

He did not want to recommend a particular wheel retail outfit so let's hear your recommendations. How do they rate on price, service, expertise etc.

You can check out the wheels at this link http://homepages.enterprise.net/srb/mshow99.html

Thumbs down

That's why I called them but they have stopped importing those wheels. They have the 18x8 corsa (white) ones available because they still use them on the rally cars.

The new one is next year's rally wheel. Specially designed by Peter Stevens for the P1.

Is this Trend Motoring you are talking about? As soon as I mentioned 53mm. offset they knew it was for a Subaru. Nothing fits without importing a Euro. model set of wheels. Hopefully a set will be introduced soon in North America; That's a big chunk of change to order from Rallispec, or a hassle to lug them over yourself.

Yes, it was Trend that I spoke to.

Basically the SuperT's are not available unless you want the full blown rally wheel which will be fine inside the rally arches.

The replacement to the SuperT is the wheel done for the P1. The guy from Trend even knew that the wheel was coming out of Prodrive (mentioned them by name).

I know Johnny at Advance Automotive can get rims from Trend. He and Bob (owner of Trend) know each other and my buddy usually deals with them. You can actually go down to the Trend 'store' (on Ontario south of Marine Dr. I think) and check things out but they won't sell anything directly to you.
Not sure if Volko Tires sells OZ, you could check there too but they probably won't have any idea what you're talking about when it comes to the P1 rim.

Cool

Try this sight www.bmtr.co.uk they quoted me a price of 1400pounds for the OZ forged racing wheel with bridgstone pole posn tires.Same rims that are on the P1,price in cdn is $3090.86 i don't know about shipping.I was thinking of ordering them, but if you can come up with a better deal than that i'd be interested.By the way the size he said would fit is 215/40/17 you can also check freeadvice@bmtr.co.uk,and they'll get back to you within 24hrs.
later...
