Default Test Mule Sighting!! what car is this?

Okay, me and some fellow NASIOC-ers went for a drive up Mt. Rose Highway in Reno today, and got passed by this thing. What is it? We're thinking a new Infinity Luxury SUV. It's body is shaped a lot like the Nissan Murano. It definately had a "luxury" feel to it... dual exhaust, big rims...

Because the guy was hauling so much ass (especially after he saw us taking pictures of it.. hehe) we only got one pricture of the front, and none of the side...

Check it out:

My bet is that's either a Nissan or Audi. The back looks alot like the new A4.

I agree , looks like it may be the new VW SUV. MAybe not the tarek or whatever the above is. The spot covered in the grill looks like it's about the right size to cover up the big VW badge. Plus even though the body is different, it looks like it's on the same platform as the Porsche. That's my guess,

After the seeing the pics that were posted while I was typing my previous post, I'm leaning towards maybe a new Audi A6 Avante' or Allroad.

I think the original Infiniti guess is right after looking at the Murano.

Edit: Just went to the Infiniti site. Its the FX45 and found under future models.

Yeah, I thought it was a Santa Fe, until I noticed the blacked out logos. Then when it went by me, I noticed it was bigger, *much* wider, and looked expensive.

I'm still thinking it's Infinity.. look at the New Nissan Murano .. pretty similar... esp. note the rear window shape and the dual exhaust. The lights tho are different.

Also, for more Reno meet pics, and the full-size SUV pics go here.

Yes there are a lot of Subarus in Reno... either you drive a truck/SUV or a Subaru... but this was spotted during a mini-meet, so those other Subies are all part of the group... hehe

Hey Extraze... great pics! That's gotta be it! Plus, in person, it kinda looked like the logos under the tape were Infinity logos, but they didn't come out in the pics.
