Talking I got a little cash and i need to spend it.

i already have a catback and i dont have the 1500 CAD ion performance wants for headers and a cat, so what do i spend my money on? Is there anyone making pullies for the RS anymore? What else is there that might free up a few ponies, i dont want to be all show and no go.

The UR pulley I have is the same as stock size, just aluminum and milled for light weight. I had the same concerns.

If you haven't yet, then I would suggest focus on the intake... a CAI from Larry Ganz with low resistance (K&N or Amusol) would give you a bit more grunt (~10HP). An ECU (ProECM, $250), as well, would give another 4-5 ponnies. Beyond these bolt-ons, it'll cost >$100/HP, and these would go well with eventual exhaust upgrade when funds allow. I gather MRT header-back system score highly for bang/buck. BTW, when I installed light-weight pullies (not undersized) there was no discernable performance improvement... although some would claim otherwise.

Yeah, the Perrin is stock size and if i recall correctly 4.5 lbs lighter than the stock pulley, I have one on my car and the butt dyno registers a differance. Check out www.altasports.net Can't reccamend them enough!

i think you should go with N1 lightweight pullies. its not just one pulley but a set of three. they aren't underdriven, just lightened. www.imprezars.com
i dont know where else they sell em.

1. Another vote for a Perrin pulley.. They're about 1/2 the cost of the N1 three-pulley set, and plenty good.

2. Can that horrid intake tubing! Unless you can do DIY, get a PDM Racing pipe and an Amsoil panel filter. Roughly $100US and well worth it. Better, watch for used stuff in the classifieds.

3. Stiffen that thing up! (Err...) Get a set of STi motor mounts, trans mount, and pitch stopper.. They're cheap right now from one of the vendors.. I buy them save for the lack of $$.

No ponies with this, but if you havn't done anything to your suspension, you might enjoy a better set of shocks and/or springs. Better handling is just as good of a thing to spend you money on as a a few more ponies.
