Default 2000-2001 catback fitament on 2002rs

Hi, does anyone know the fitament issues for transferring a 2000-2001 rs catback exhaust to a 2002 rs?

Do hangars have to be relocated?
Does the exhaust need to be lengthened/shortened?
Any other problems/issues?

thanks,

dan

theres one hanger on the muffler section that doesn't line up but you can stretch the factory rubber hanger to make it work.

1 hanger for the midpipe is not in the right spot. They can stretch it but I would suggest you get some stronger hangers for the rest of the exaust then. My muffler section started to rattle around intil I put the cusco hangers on. After that, I was happy as a clam. Now to get some borla headers and mabye a cat

Default hmm

so one hangar on the midpipe, and one hangar on the muffler?

So 2 hangars have to be modded, or are you guys talkign about the same thing?

Also, does the piping need to be lengthened or shortened? Also, are all the bends in locations that match up to the 2002rs?

Thanks,

dan

huh?? what are you talking about, the midpipe lines up, it's the muffler section's first hanger that doesn piping is the same length as the car is the same wheel base, just wider.

Odd, I am going to have to go out to my car and look. Because I thought it was the midpipe that had the problem. Oh well. haha, I guess I just learned something.

Default confusing

ok, so all that is different is a hangar on the muffler?
if so, how much does getting something like that modded to fit on my car?

Do i just go to midas and say i want you guys to install this catback, all that needs to be done is relocate a muffler hangar? how much should i expect to get charged for that?
