Question Is the STI short shifter available at Cobb Tuning different than............

Hi. I saw at Cobb Tuning they have an STI short shifter kit. I was wondering if this shifter is different than the short shifter that Subaru offers as an accessory on their 2002 Imprezas. From the photos...they look about the same as far as I can tell.

Anybody here know?

Not sure, but I believe getting just the short shifter from either Cobb or Kartboy w/bushing or Cusco bushing works lead to even better results

Good luck

I have an STi STS that I got through my Subaru dealer and it includes bushings. I paid $202 including install and tax. I've read great things about the Kartboy STS and I'm sure that either way you go you'll be satisfied. However I can't imagine anything shifting better than the STi. Perhaps other STS are equal but this STi is fantastic.
