Post Fog lights help?

I have a MY01 2.5RS and would to have just the fog lights come on without having to have the headlights on at the same time. Is it possible to re-wire it somehow?

tim allen can rewire anything! seriously, i looked @ a schematic and i believe the fog switch connects to ground through the headlight switch and the headlight switch simply disconnects that ground when in the high-beam circuit. i'll look around and see
if i can find it. if so, it would just be a matter of disconnecting the wire that goes from the fog switch to the headlight switch and connecting it to the chassis.

So if I'm following you right...would the fogs work completely by themselves without the headlights being on at all?

Do a search. It was on the mods section, but was taken off for some reason. If you can find the instructions, it will take you about 15 minutes to do the wiring. That's how long it took me. The fog lights will work with the parking lights on, and with the headlights on, but still won't work with the high beams on.
