i found aqua tail light cover, but i looks silly on black suby...

why i want to change it so bad. my gf told me - hey, look ! your car has the same rear as toyota echo !

i told her - what do you think a echo like car run faster than a boxter ?

Avoid the Altezzas.

I've been considering the "Jaguar" style. Those are the ones that are like the Altezzas but are red and white instead of clear with red spots.

...either altezzas, whether they be IS style or Jaguar style...or the morette's "spider" eye taillights.....then again you could alway just tint them with some nightshade tint....

What I have noticed is that the 04 (redisigned) WRX has the tail lights identical to the "Jaguar style" but with the half moon on the bottom.

Compare the pics and you'll see. THose lights will make the rear look like a 04!!!

Subaru fixes bugeyes for new 04, but look at those ugly tailights

Those lights are probably going to hurt sales

WRXGuy,

All we see on our end is a Red X. I'd be interested in seeing what your taillights look like.

If you like the '04 wrx tail lights you'll like the Jag lights. Almost same thing minus the circle part of the '04 that dips into the bumper (ugly imho).

I've been wondering, to those who own these lights, how to they light up?? Full red or just rings of red? Is there a good contrast between parking light and break light? I know some altezza don't have a good contrast and you think they are ALWAYS breaking.

I can take pictures tonight to show it, but the contrast is HUGE. The parking light level is a nice low glow, and when braking, it lights up really good. They use the stock bulbs, so the contrast is similar, but you can see it better because of the taillight design.

they're on ebay all the time... you might want to check one of the more uh... racer-ish WRX forums like clubwrx.net too.

OK here's the pics as promised.

Here's a pic when the running lights are on...
http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/mclaren__...c=ph%26.view=t

Here's a pic with the brakes applied...
http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/mclaren__...c=ph%26.view=t

The pictures don't really do justice... there's a HUGE difference in person, but the camera likes to overexpose dim light at night.

Any smoked tails out there? Think they'd look nice for silver and black cars.

I'm glad you like them!

vividracing.com sells them

Or you can try Ebay

If you go to vivid, call them and tell them you saw them advertised for 180... that's the price they'll give ya...
