I finally learned a bit more about shooting cars. Still have lots to learn too.

here is my baby:

The big version of picture 1
The big version of picture 2
The big version of picture 3
Only thing I put on it are "go" parts, so there isn't much to "show"

Got a new camera (Nikon Coolpix 3200) and a rear lip decided to take some pics.

Stromung Dual Tip exhaust has a very tight clearance for the lip and the rear diff bolt.

Nice car! I have that same camera and I enjoy it a lot. It is very user friendly. Those look like rotas, since I don't see the RCII sticker on the spoke. In the pic they look lighter in color than the real RCIIs, but are they? Or is it just the lighting? Could you take a close up pic of the front lip like you did the rear, please. Keep up the good work!

Nah, I think you are a bit confused. The key is Midnight Pearl Blue. The car itself is blue when clean, and black the rest of the time. So if you feel it's black cool for you, but my boost gauge might not agree with you.

Ya I got a question. Why the hell are you so concerned? I mean does my car just look that much better than yours, did I smoke you at some time? What? The car is Blue and it's Black. Maybe I should move to the black thread so I can catch flak there too. Heck there's even some Cherry Blossum Red in there. Oh sorry pink (you you). So maybe I should put it there? The mere fact is: my car is blue in one light and black in another. More than that's it's equipped with swirl marks, anti flares, and more AWD tat's then most any other Scoob I've seen. If there were a catagory for that then I would have chossen the " Cars that get driven, look really beat up, have lots of scratches and dents thread." But there isn't so...

Dude, ease up. Your car MIGHT be blue, but in the pics you took it is black. So if you want to post in the blue thread take pics that make it look blue, otherwise hit it up in the official black thread. On the lighter side your car is really shiny, so I put my shades on . Also, what camera are you using, because your pics came out really good. Or are you an avid photographer?

Well as nuch fun as it'd be to re-edit my images I just don't see it happening. The damage has been done. And I've hurt everyones feelings, again. Strange how my car has that afect on other "drivers"

Wow,

Looks Black to me? I guess the shading and lighting were a factor.

NIce ride either way.

What size of rims and tires are you running?

I also noticed that your tire setup is different in the pictures....the Kumho 712's...what tires were on the first picture?

Thanks for the props.

The wheels are 17x7 Rotta Subzero's wrapped with 225/45 zr17 Ecsta supra 712's. It's a long complicated story as to how that happened but it goes kinda like this. I've owned several sets of 712's over the years. They are probable on of my favorite tires. For some reason I decided to go with 235/45 ZR17 Ecsta MX's. They are an unbeatable tire (unless it's wet). Long story turned into an Epic. The passanger side front tire started to vibrate really bad and then developed a bubble in the sidewall. Right next to the rim. After talking to Kumho and Tire Rack I'm SOL! They say I hit something causing the failure. That's BS I got 16'' wheels for that.
I had the MX's a total of 6 weeks before I got screwed out of them. So I ordered another set of 712's and am tickled pink. EVERYONE NEEDS TO STAY AWAY FROM TIRE RACK!!! THEY'LL ROB YOU BLIND AND MAKE UP AN EXCUSE AS TO WHY IT'S YOUR FAULT.
As for the fog lights that's another long story. The long and short of it is an Expedition stopped short the other morning and I lost a light. Luckily that was it! Now I'm stuck in a dilema. Purchase another set and mount them in the same location? Or in the stock foglight location? I dunno for sure but I do know that I've spent a grip of cash modding my car over the past few weeks and now can't aford eat. So it'll be a while before I can aford new lights.
Anyone wanna sponsor my RS? It'll suprise you...

Freeriding, your car is Midnight Black Pearl; it's black with blue flakes in the paint. In 04, they changed it to Java Black Pearl; that's black with gold flakes in the paint.
