Yah, the tune is awesome! It's pretty incredible how much a difference there is going Stg 1 to 2... Lot bigger IMO than going stock - Stg 1. I havent had any issues with his map and the car powerwise/reliability is right where I want it.

Funny with the OZ's, I used to have the exact same setup on my ole Legacy (but they were gunmetal)

Thats great to hear. When I first went stock -> stage 1 it had that wow factor, but I think I am used to it now. Glad to know I will get that again when I step up to stage 2. I'm with you, I think I'll be happy with the car power and reliability wise at stage 2.

If I had a choice with the wheels, I would have gotten gunmetal. But that's just the way things go with used. With how much I saved, I don't mind splurging on a quality powder coating.

Love the look of the AEM in the engine bay

Your car looks good with those Sti wheels, did you have redrilled? You have a WRX right??

I just got the Phillips 4 DRL LED and they mounted up to that. You can mount them anywhere but they're most efficient as wide out as possible... That easiest logical place I could think of with it looking good, plus they're bright as hell.

Yeah I think he swapped. His side badges and grille have sti badges. A full hub swap for the stock 5 spokes would not be worth it haha.

Cool, thanks for the info. I may look in to picking up some of those.

Yeah, I did a trunk lid swap. Although the STI wing started growing on me, it was still a bit much. I really wanted the stealthier look (not that this thing is all that stealthy even now). I got lucky and found someone who had a brand new WRX Limited with the same mileage (600) that was willing to trade.

Default Silver all the way.

Here is my baby. I am a sucker for Silver car accessorized in black. Tinted all the way around. Smoked headlights and taillights. Hella horns painted black with an emblem delete. Grillcraft lower black grill.

A side shot.

Close up of the wheels. 17x8 gunmetal gforce wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza RE970 225/45/17.

I'm with ya, JSchell. I'm itching to go stage 2 (protune) with either the AEM CAI or Cobb shorty. My buddy is there now and his car sounds awesome and goes like a bat outta hell. Stage 1 has been fun, but I'm used to it as well. I know I'll get used to stage 2 too, but I'll quit there in the name of reliability, or what's left of it.

For a winter setup, I don't think yours looks bad at all. Its a winter setup, it's not supposed to be full of summer awesomeness. It's supposed to get you through all the muck and mire winter throws at you. Assuming you get some nasty weather from time to time in KC MO.

^^ Where'd you get the wheel center caps!? I like those, and wouldn't mind some on my XXR's.

Got them from Underground graphics. Just called up Greg and told him what I was looking for. Sent them out next day. Arrived to me in 3 days. Great quality, awesome price.

^Those look good, I wonder how the rota caps and xxr caps differ...

Quality is top notch, I actually have Greg's front/rear JDM emblem.

Is it me or do people not give silver cars the same amount of love as the other colors?

I agree everyone hates silver because it's too bland and has no color to it. If I was to choose what color I wanted, I wouldn't want silver but now that I own it I love it. You just got to know how to do it right

This. And there aren't a lot of ways to go crazy with silver like you can with WRB or another color. They have the option to run damn near any color wheel and be able to pull it off. Silver is really limited to dark wheel combos with heavy black accents. Like he said, it really pops when done right.
