Default Dave's 2009 DGM WRX sedan

Hey everyone, I picked my car up a little over a year ago, in late october from Schaller Subaru in Berlin Connecticut, it was bone stock with a SPT cat back exhaust. My car is my pride and joy, and i love it, it's come quite a long way in the year i've owned it.
Current Mod List:
Engine/Exhaust:
Perrin Cold Air Intake
Borla UEL Headers
Dual magnaflow custom catback
3 inch Invidia catted downpipe
Turbo XS 50/50 BOV
Cobb Accessport
Godspeed FMIC
EFI logics protuned 298whp/336tq
Deatsch werks high flow fuel pump
Interior:
Kicker 12' sub
Pioneer radio
Kicker amp
subiemods weighted shift knob
shift extender
Carbon fibre vinyl wrapped interior pieces
Wheels and Suspension:
ISC N1 Coilovers
ISC rear control arms
18x9.5 gold Enkei Nt03 +40
235/40/18 Falken Ziex tires
Motegi red extended lug nuts
Exterior:
Megan Racing Carbon Fibre STI spoiler
trunk replacement
gold hella horns
rallysport direct hella horn wiring harness
JNA performance mounting bracket
chrome delete under window with vinyl
chrome delete above rear license plate with vinyl
front license plate delete and relocation
badgeless on front and back
Perrin front license plate delete
Perrin license plate relocator
35% tint all around
Jna performance rain guards
Subaru vortex generator

The day i picked her up:
I picked up some rally armor mudflaps like everyone else in the subaru scene.

The first mod i did to my car was a perrin cold air intake, unfortunately i never took a picture of the install. Shortly after that, i got sick of the ugly stock wheels that came with the car, and i picked up some enkei ekm3 wheels.

shortly after that i got sick of the ugly, loose vagina wheel gap that came stock and i picked up some eibach lowering springs.

A few weeks later i picked up some red hella horns with a mounting bracket from jna performance, i also bought some head light tint vinyl from pep boys and it didn't come out too bad.

Soon after that i wanted my car to rumble a little more and picked up some Borla Unequal Length headers, which i still didn't get the noise result i wanted. I also picked up a cobb accessport soon after and went on a stage 1 tune.
I finally ended up getting sick of my quiet spt exhaust and i ended up getting a custom exhaust which gave me the sound i wanted.
I've always loved the look of the STI spoiler, and i thought it'd be a unique mod to have a sti wing on a narrow body sedan, so i ended up picking up a real carbon fibre STI wing from megan racing. I ended up having to redrill holes into my trunk </3 and covering the previous holes from the wrx spoiler with electrical tape for the time being.
After that, i stopped by the subaru dealership and found a roof fin spoiler. I also came across a great deal on some XXR 527 17x9.75 wheels wrapped in Falken all season 225 tires.
Initially i had a ton of issues with the fenders rubbing the tires, especially because my suspension was so bouncy from the lowering springs, i knew i needed to fix that asap, so i drove to jna performance in bethany CT, and rented a fender roller, and i also found a sick deal on nasioc for some H&R coilovers.

unfortunately in the process of rolling my fenders, i buckled my drivers side rear quarter panel :'(.
After this, i got really tired of looking at the exterior flaws on my car, that nice buckle in the quarter panel along with many holes in my trunk, i went to a local body shop owned by a family friend. I was also able to find an impreza trunk that came off a totaled car at the junk yard. So i had my buckle fixed and painted along with the new trunk, and i had the sti wing re-mounted. I also ended up getting an offer for my 527's that i couldn't refuse and found a set of white rota g forces 18x9.
turns out 18x9 fit almost perfectly on my car and i was able to drop my car even more, I'm tucking tire in the rear and almost tucking in the front, couldn't be happier with the stance, not to mention i don't rub any where near as bad as i was with my XXR's. I also took the cages off my hella horns and painted them white instead of red. Yep, there's more, i put a catless invidia downpipe into my car and went stage 2, i also picked up a turbo xs BOV from wicked big meet.

I also ended up wrapping the chrome pieces under my windows and the piece above my license plate in a matte black vinyl. I wish i had more pictures, but my friend who took the shoot, hasn't finished editing the pictures yet.

Honestly I usually hate the narrow bodies, but I really like this one. I also usually hate Gforces but you pull them off really well. The STi wing looks really good and all the small details like the wraps and the clean body work really help the car. All those things like the roof vanes, rotas, and narrow body I usually hate but this is an exception. Im a big fan of this and am looking forward to seeing more pics.

Thanks alot, i really appreciate the kind words. Narrow body WRX's in all means are an aquired taste, but i'm glad you can appreciate mine.

Hi guys what's new? New suspension being put in monday, picked up some ISC coilovers and control arms, might be painting my wheels sooner than later. For now, here's the ride.

Most of these pictures were taken by my good friend Rich, he takes pictures of all types of cars and is the writer for Perfect Stance. Feel free to give him a follow on instagram @rvvvvh and if you'd like to follow my ride follow @Sk8bug

DGM sexiness. I was never a fan of the sti spoiler on the narrow body, but yours looks amazing with it.
