Yea I know what you mean...I had mine professionally done and finally those swirl marks are gone. Now it's like a brand new paintjob...well except for the rock chips...

-Menzerna Powergloss via rotary and LC Cutting Pad @ 1500 rpm after wetsanding a few touch up marks
-Optimum Polish via rotary and LC Light Cutting Pad @ 1500 rpm
-Menzerna Final Polish II via rotary and LC Polishing Pad @ 1500 rpm
-Menzerna Final Polish II via rotary and LC Finishing Pad @ 1500 rpm on hood (slight hazing)

-Poorboy's BnB on tires
-Meguiar's Hyper Dressing (3:1) in wells
-Adam's VRT on plastic

I have some minor clearcoat scratches around... waxing doesn't help those anymore... need something like this or NuFinish...

NuFinish can be a bit abrasive for our paint and clearcoat no?

Definitely a polish with a orbital buffer...with all my effort I couldn't get the swirls out by hand with polish.

V6 - What equipment, products and steps did you use to acheive such a radical transformation? My WRX is going to need a good detail soon. My brother uses a porter cable 7424 orbital buffer on his cars. I have to say the rides you detailed have a mirror finish like no other!

Thank you very much! I always thought the combination of black and gold was a killer; I'm surprised many WRX/STI owners don't care for such an arrangement. We are special: we got style!

Not really. You can create a NASIOC Members profile and upload the pictures there. Then once you upload them just link the URL to the picture (easily by right-clicking on the uploaded picture and then clicking on 'PROPERTIES').
