A full set is generally a good idea.

Might I ask as to why you are even considering replacing just one?

well with 1300 miles i'm not looking at replacing any any time soon, but i'm looking into putting together a tool/parts kit and wasnt sure if it should add one or if it'd be better to just wait until i could replace them all if i ever was in need.

Toolkit, eh? Well, I'd say a cell phone is more valuable than a sparkplug. They don't often fail for no good reason, and if they fail for good reason I'm not sure it would be wise to put another in and continue driving like nothing happened. I'd prefer to *not* drive away and investigate the problem in a garage to protect against further damage. Hypothetically speaking, of course.
