Default Anyone Using A Weapon*r Dragon Filter?

Hey if you are using a Dragon Filter by Weapon R? what are you comments? have you had any problems with it?? has it cost any problems to your Throttle Body?? I heard that there is a recall on the filter cuz it causes throttle body problems. anyone have any good things to say about it?? or bad about it??

Has anyone had problems with using the filter causing your 2.5 to go Lean??? or is it just me??

The leaning is due to the car getting more air than when it was stock. Did you do an ECU reset?
The filter will not cause any Throttle Body problems...

open air intakes have much suck on the NA 2.5 engines...

the 2.5 lives on low end torque...
install and open air intake and kiss your low end bye bye.

trust me. been there done that
NOT doing that again.

Im with jamie, if you get an intake, get the Cobb CAI, its great, i love mine and have all the low end too, well worth the money anf take nice cold air from the fender well. www.cobbtuning.com

Hey all,

Thanks for the opinion. Well I haven't had any low end power loss thank good. but the problem I'm having right now is the fact that the car idles LEAN? the dealer cannot figure out what's wrong with it, but I'm figuring it's either the TB or something is wrong with the secondary O2 sensor.

The throttle body could be faulty because when it's cold it doesn't get a shot of rich <choke> to help it warm up....not sure why that is either. maybe I'll just try and reset the ECU again and see if it makes any difference.
