That is a VERY nice ride you have there. Very impressive. Only thing I would change are the rims. Looks like someone stole the hubcaps off your 15" steelies.

Black rims make baby Jesus cry.

Very nice car. But does anyone know anything or have more pics of that (what appears to be) green Outback Sport in the back of the last pic?

Also, does pbase.com charge anything if you go over a certain limit? It says it's free, but then has this: http://www.pbase.com/pricing.html

Ok ok guys I so i messed up on the photos ha!!! but I'll out internet search any of you, any day ha! Yeah im not a comp wiz.
but i will fgire it out sooner or later.

As for the black rims. I figured not all of you would like them, and thats half the point of having them. there kinda my protest against crome rims, and well sh** also my protest againt the prices of all the worth while rims out there to get (volks).... I think they look aggresive. there not pretty, and flashy. they look more like there ready to rumble. I LOVE UM. and all the clear lights are coming off to. back to amber.

Black rims make baby devil smile.

SRT-4 ....HA!

Yeah man ...alls i did was pull the rims off, degreased them, used wet sand paper just to skuff them up enough to get the clear coat off, or ruffind. used a tougher grit paper on the inside of the rim for the fact that the brake dust was thicker. I got some old playing cards to put between the rims, and the tire all the way around. And used high heat flat black primer paint. I used high heat cause the rims does warm up from braking, and high heat is less likly to chip. (trust me i didnt think the rims would get 1000 gedrees or higher).. I have not gotton any chips, BUT i did get some fading for the simple reason that i only did one coat. I'll be doing like 3 coats on them come spring. and i think they look much better. probaully go dark grey also, or pink (kidding). or hey maybe i'll just get new rims ha!!

Why doesn't somebody with a WRX just buy a Grand National instead of spending all their cash on the WRX?

Any true car enthusiast would know that this is a stupid question.

I knew someone was going to say that

A GC8 with a 2.0L T isn't designed to directly replace getting a GDA.

If your whole goal is to drag as fast as possible, yes. GNX will be a MUCH better choice.
A "true" car enthusiast will not list a line of no go look good parts as "mods." I am just trying to figure what he is trying to accomplish here.

So I guess people who build 30s hot rods aren't car enthusiasts because they try to make their ride look good, too? I get so tired of these "performance purists" who think that anything cosmetic takes you down a notch as an enthusiast. There are as many different kinds of enthusiasts as there are enthusiasts themselves, and nobody has the authority to judge to can and cannot label themselves as such.

I imagine he's trying to build a very cool car - a goal in which he's succeded IMO. Perhaps you're not trying to be as snide as you came across. I can't tell.
