Default Some more STi pics for everyone to drool over!

STi in Alaska

A buddy of mine up in Fairbanks took these pics of the car parked outside of his apartment! He had to dodge a nasty Asian guy who was yelling at him in words he couldn't understand....Enjoy, if he gets more I'll be sure to post them.

Is that an aftermarket boost gauge on the dash in pic3?

My guess is that it is just a reflection on the glass.

damm, pretty good!

why is SOA trying to keep the STi so much of a secret. I mean it seems they are taking over extreme measurements (more than normally put into a new car) in order to preserve the STi secrecy. Is there something we do not know yet? It is possible this STi has something the rest of them don't have?

ha, they even got the car very dirty!

Thanks for the Pictures!

Are those HIDs?

They look like halogens, but it's hard to tell. That's quite the orange indicator in the headlight assembly-looks like a tuff mod to remove that.

Oh, and STILL no side fender indicators!!! As they probably didn't want to manufacture 2 different front fenders for the non-STi and Sti.

The USDM RS had 'em, why can't the USDM WRX have 'em?

That is a pretty 'tuff' side view of the front - looks stout (ready to bust some ass)

Actually that is very clever of them NOT to put red sti stuff all over the place. Just throw a WRX badge on the back, and those who really aren't in the 'know' will think somebody just modded the crap out of a regular WRX. Course the headlights/sheetmetal probably gave it away.

I will definitely be ripping the 'S U B A R U' badges off the back if they DO stick 'em on the STi.

Looking at the white Alaskan subie.

I'm not very good in geography, but Alaska is part of
United States or I'm wrong. So why is the face-lifted subie or STi model not sold in other states?????? IS there a grey market or what.

4wd - you are a bit out of the loop on this discussion. About two or three weeks ago some Suby engineers were doing winter testing in AK. Someone managed some spy pics of the car when it was there. Several of the suby employees chased him off and would not answer his questions. Also, speculation is that these ere not SOA employees. Check out

http://www.imprezawrxsti.com/phpBB2/

for more details. Search on Alaska.

That'd be the one...

Like people in Alaska don't know their Subies or something...

Looks like they just got done with a "snow stage" at warp speed.

Nice pics.

and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
