Default Do you have this Blitz turbo timer????

If so, where did you install it? Can you measure it and tell me what it's exact dimensions are? I'm trying to see if it will fit next to the cup holder in the dash. BTW, I'm primarily after the boost gauge since I've heard the value of turbo timers to the WRX are questionable. Thanks very much for any help.

many, many people have installed it in that location (next to the cup holder). if you don't have any aprehentions cutting the piece, you're good to go.

I put mine where the ash tray used to be

speed safely

Thanks for the reply, Brian. I would install it where the ashtray is if I didn't have other plans for that spot. Hopefully someone will post a pic of the install so I can decide if I like how it looks there. Anybody have an idea what the URL is for the gauge install pictures thread? I've looked for it without success.

Hmmm... I wasn't aware that it lit up blue instead of green. I'll have to give that some thought. Atomic, do you have it installed next to the cupholder, or elsewhere? What do either of you guys think of the boost gauge performance - assuming you have that part hooked up?

i purchased the stock pod. there is a boostcontoller (yet to put in), the turbo timer, and a oil press (greddy) guage (yet to put in)

i didnt put the boost, or speed part connected. i have a greddy p/h/w guage. i think personally is a really good guage, very accurate. and its not really a good thing trying to read it when your driving. its kinda hard to see if its really bright. bnut if you had a guage, you can kinda figure out whjat the psi is, cuz you will catch it at the corner of your eye, and kinda sum it up from where the needle is.

just my .02. but if i had to remount it, i would put it in the ashtray area. its not really noticalbe. cuz at night it kinda borthers you, cuz of the light and color. took me a while to adjust cuz i wasnt used to it.

I've had mine installed next to the cup holder, for some reason I can't post pics, so if you send me your e-mail I'll give you an idea of the TT and the EBC installed, both Blitz. The EBC was installed where the cupholders were.

I have that model in the black housing, and it lights up a lite green.I mounted mine next to the cup holder, but I saw one once mounted in the coin holder under the fog switch, nice stealth look.

you don't have to cut or alter the piece next to the cupholder i have mine there i simply put a piece of velcro on it and attached it that way
