Post another CE light. Help!

I'm not sure what's wrong with my car now. I started it up this morning and it seemed ok, then the engine revs dropped and a CE light came on. I turned it off right away because i panicted(?-spelling).

I did a ECu reset and it seemed ok but the revs were higher at idle. I'm not sure if it's hydro lock because it rained yesterday and i have a weapon R intake with open hood scoops. It could also be my crank pulley because i didn't put much grease on it. It could be my afc which i installed myself, but i've been checking all the conections and they seem fine.

i've tried starting it a couple of times and when i turn it off it rattles violently and the CE it still staring me in the face.
any suggestions are appreciated.

Well, you're not hydro-locked. You couldn't get that much water into your engine from open hood scoops. However, if the WeaponR intake uses a foam filter, it could be water-logged and choking your engine.

Intialize your S-AFC i before i dyno tuned it it thought it was running right but then is started shooting black ***** everywhere and the CE light come on. Your probably just getting a overly rich reading. I have this problem when i use my Zex nitrous cause it cranks the fuel pressure...

pimpomtic...Did you do an ECU reset after you installed all of the mods you described? That MIGHT be a factor of why the CE light comes on. I had that happened to me when the car had 3k miles..came on and off like crazy, but it fixed itself and now everything is cool...????????

to reset, take off the negative, positive, or both terminals from your battery for at least 30 minutes. then start your car and let it warm up on it's own meaning DON'T TOUCH THE GAS WHEN YOU START IT! i would wait a half hour for that as well to be safe. then turn the car off. then turn it back on again and do some spirited driving varying your RPM range throught the gears. that should do the trick.

as for you BongMan...do the simplest think...check your gas cap.. above that...good luck

Pull out the guage cluster (how-to in i-club somewhere) and cut the wires for the CE. Viola! End of problem.
(of course I am not serious)
