Default Overheating

Lately i've been having these overheating problems with my car. It seems that when i'm parking for a long time it overheats but when i'm driving around town the temperature stays fine. I just had my thermostat replaced about 3 weeks ago and now i'm having this problem again. Do you guys have any ideas what could be wrong? I know a bad head gasket could be one of the costly ones but any other ideas?

Thanx

Thavy

are your radiator fans working? Cuz if they're not, they wouldn't be able to blow the air through the radiator if the car wasn't moving. But once you're moving you've got cool air flowing through the radiator...

Sounds like a Fan Temp swtich, you're fans are'nt turning on when they should be, thus the reason when you're standing still and no air is moving over the radiator, its overheating. Headgaskets will cause you more problems when the car is in motion, as more exhaust fumes will leak into the water jackets.
