Question Part throttle hesitation

Yes, I did a search.

So a couple of days ago, I noticed my STOCK WRX with just over 3,000 miles bucking a bit at part throttle. It didn't do this before. Does anyone have a link on this problem? Most of what I found on this was with modded cars.

It's hard to duplicate the problem too. Only 2 things have happened in the last week that make me think caused this. A) I changed my oil for the first time (highly unlikely) and b), I filled up with no-name 91 Octane rather than my usual 93. Other than those two things, I have no idea.

Can somebody please point me in the right direction? Thanks!!

it will usually do that even if you're still stock when the motor and turbo are cold. if it does it when the car is warmed up then you may have an issue with the ECU or the boost contoller. hope this may help....

the only thing i could advise is to try searching for info here or take it to the dealer and see if they can diagnose a problem. i am not aware of all the changes they may have made to the new model as far as boost control or TPS settings in the ECU. sorry man..

Thanks again KJR. I'll try a few more searches. I'm not too concerned at the moment. If the problem persists, then I'll take it in...

my dealer replaced a cat under warranty, saying that was the problem. Nope, from what I hear, it is either a part of the wastegate or the ECU screwing up.
