Default Turbo missing oil and coolant feed lines?

Quick Question:

I have just purchased a turbo, but it is missing the brass colored oil line and coolant line. Can I use the parts from another bolt on turbo for my new turbo?

The hole where the oil line goes looks like it's threaded and the new line might just screw in. But the hole where the coolant line goes doesn't look threaded (but has two smaller holes on the side that are threaded) , so does the brass fitting just pop in there or what?

just wanted to find out if there is anything that i can do before taking the old turbo off first.

thanks

I just received my VF-30 from Gruppe-S and it had the coolant lines already attached to the turbo. Maybe you can use the fittings off the stock Mitsu turbo. What kind of turbo did you pick up? The oil line on my VF-30 is just blocked off and you should use your existing oil banjo bolt and copper washers. Just be very careful not to overtighten these. They don't need a whole lot of torque.

It's a PE1818. So I could use the oil and coolant fittings off my VF30 then?

I'm not sure but I would assume so since the PE series are based on IHI turbos.

Power Enterprise ships both PE1818 and PE1820 with pre-fitted coolant and oil pipes. I once bought a used IHI VF24 turbo that had no pipes so I used the ones from the stock TD04L .. they fit. Similarly, get yourself a set of pipes from either your stock turbo or IHI. The banjo flange has a gasket -- use a new one!
