I have an AFC on my 99 2.5RS. You are correct. The blue/pink pair are for another sensor, such as a second MAF (like the Skyline has). I can't remember off the top of my head what the orange one was for (actually, I don't specifically remember an orange wire...).

DO a search for the BLUE WIRE MOD, I did this and it was fairly accurate. I have an EGT now and in all fairness the BWM didn't do a bad job in terms of accuracy.

It's a pass-thru, just like your MAF/MAP line. It takes an input voltage, modifies it based on the fuel maps (well, in the case of the AFC, they're more like "airflow voltage maps"...), and sends out a different voltage. The AFC would see some completely unintelligible voltage coming from the "second MAF/MAP", and it would get very confused trying to determine how much air is going into your engine. So it just wouldn't make any sense to try and use it for something else, because it would confuse the hell out of the AFC, which would think a second MAF/MAP is reading all kinds of funny stuff. Not a good idea.

However, you can run input-2 from the front O2 sensor line off the ECU, which is actually a useful thing to do, so you can monitor A/F ratio (with all of the accuracy for which our stock O2 sensors are famous ).
